Đại học Tổng hợp Nantes là cơ sở giáo dục đại học và nghiên cứu công lập cung cấp mô hình độc đáo ở Pháp với trường đại học, bệnh viện đại học, viện nghiên cứu công nghệ (IRT Jules Verne), cơ quan nghiên cứu quốc gia (Inserm) và các Trường lớn (Centrales Nantes, École des Beaux-Arts, École d'Architecture).
