Được thành lập vào năm 1988, Excelia là một trong những tập đoàn giáo dục đại học đầu tiên tại Pháp. Excellia có các chương trình đào tạo cấp bằng Cử nhân và Thạc sĩ trong các lĩnh vực thương mại, du lịch và truyền thông số hoá.

Là thành viên của Hiệp Hội Các Trường Lớn - CGE, Excelia đã xuất sắc nhận được bộ ba chứng chất lượng (AACSB, EQUIS và AMBA) và là trường duy nhất tại Pháp được chứng nhận của Tổ chức Du lịch Thế giới (UNWTO.TedQual) cho các chương trình quản lí du lịch và khách sạn.
