Fondée en 1872 par la CCI de Lyon, emlyon business school est un établissement privé d'enseignement supérieur reconnu par l'Etat. Elle est l'une des plus anciennes écoles de commerce en Europe. L'Ecole fait partie du 1% des business schools mondiales labellisées par les trois accréditations internationales : AACSB, EQUIS et AMBA.  L'Ecole accueille 9 050 étudiantes et étudiants de 111 nationalités en formation initiale et près de 6 900 participants à des programmes de formation continue. L'Ecole s'appuie sur un réseau de 200 partenaires académiques internationaux et anime une communauté de 41 700 diplômés dans 130 pays différents.

It is one of the oldest business schools in Europe. emlyon is among the 1% of global business schools to be accredited by the three international accreditation systems: AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. The School hosts 9,050 students representing 111 nationalities in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, along with nearly 6,900 participants in executive education programs.
