Được thành lập vào năm 2003, Centrale Marseille ra đời từ sự hợp nhất của 4 trường kỹ thuật lâu đời của Marseille - vùng đất của ngành kỹ thuật trong hơn một thế kỷ qua.

Là một cơ sở khoa học quốc tế, Centrale Marseille đào tạo các kỹ sư có khả năng quản lý, sáng tạo và đổi mới trong một thế giới phức hợp. Để đáp ứng những thách thức, khoa học và công nghệ phải được đặt trong mục đích phục vụ lợi ích chung. Do đó, các tổ chức cần những thế hệ kỹ sư mới, cởi mở và hợp tác, có ý thức và trách nhiệm cao.

Trường liên kết với bảy phòng thí nghiệm khoa học, dưới sự giám sát chung của CNRS và Đại học Aix-Marseille. Trường duy trì quan hệ đối tác với gần một trăm quốc gia. Fondée en 2003, Centrale Marseille est née de la fusion de quatre écoles d’ingénieurs marseillaises historiques – la Cité phocéenne est une terre d’ingénierie depuis plus d’un siècle.

Établissement scientifique international, Centrale Marseille forme des ingénieurs capables de manager, créer et innover dans un monde complexe. Pour en relever les défis, la science et la technique doivent être mises au service du bien commun. Les organisations ont ainsi besoin de nouvelles générations d’ingénieurs, ouverts à la coopération et aux autres, conscients et responsables.

L’École est associée à sept laboratoires scientifiques, en cotutelle avec le CNRS et Aix-Marseille Université. Elle entretient des partenariats dans près d’une centaine de pays. L’École plaide pour un enseignement supérieur où excellence scientifique et académique et responsabilités sociétales et environnementales se combinent et se complètent pour façonner ce qu’elle est : une école à impact.

Founded in 2003, Centrale Marseille was born of the merger of four historic Marseilles engineering schools - the City of Marseilles has been a land of engineering for over a century.

An international scientific institution, Centrale Marseille trains engineers capable of managing, creating and innovating in a complex world. To meet the challenges of this world, science and technology must be put to work for the common good. Organisations therefore need new generations of engineers who are open to cooperation and to others, who are aware and responsible.
